Drijat - دريجات
Unlike the rest of the Negev villages, Drijat was founded in the 19th century by Fellahin immigrants from mount Hebron.
The village is known for having almost no unemployment and very high academic standards.
99% of the locals complete their academic studies in Israel or abroad. Current Estimated population : 1,200
Fun Fact: Drijat claims to have the first solar powered mosque in the Middle East.
Today, Drijat is considered one of the most touristic places in the Negev District.
In fact, by 2021 we are planning to open weekly on going courses
based on immersion type learning, in Drijat.
