Hurfeish is the most Northern, and highest village among the Druze villages in Israel. It's amazing view and wether ads a lot to the village atmosphere.
The village overviews small suburbs in Lebanon.. some Druzes are originally from Lebanon and live currently in the village.
Some people from the village believe that during the ottoman period the locals suffered from lack of freedom, and thats why the name Hurfeish is a symbol and even has a meaning in Arabic - “Hur-Fish” (No-Freedom).
